Common Areas
La Portilla offers numerous rooms that function as common areas, to be shared by all guests. All the common areas are located on the ground floor of the house. Enjoy a great experience…!

It has been the heart of the house ever since Santiago López y Díaz de Quijano expanded it with this gallery. It preserves the original decoration and structure: the interior walls are adorned with magnificent oriental-style paintings, and the glass facade offers views of the garden.

Fireplace Room

Library
This room houses the personal library of Claudio López de Lamadrid. It can be converted into a bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom, and connects to the Japanese Room and the Fireplace Room.
TV Room
A space designed for watching television, ideal for children.
Office
A small, fully-equipped kitchen used for breakfast service.
Industrial Kitchen
Located in the basement, equipped with an industrial kitchen that connects to a children’s dining room, service dining room, pantry, laundry, and ironing room.
Workshop
A unique space in the house, featuring a large table perfect for meetings and meals.
